Composição de Ricardo Coelho popularizada entre a nova geração de tocadores de gaitas de fole. A Montes foi partilhada pelo grupo Pé na Terra, na Festa do Caldo de Quintandona (Penafiel), em 2011 e 2012, e passou a fazer parte dos concertos ao vivo de Retimbrar, durante anos. Mal disparava o tema, uma dupla de músicos chegava-se à frente e desafiava o público para uma sequência de passos simples e era, até ao fim, uma autêntica prova de resistência para os aficionados da dança. Nesta versão, erguem-se os braços por um outro matrimónio: o das gaitas com os instrumentos de corda.
